Sandy Jones, MA, is a nationally-known pregnancy and parenting expert. Her
newest book, co-authored with her daughter, Marcie Jones, Great Expectations: Your
All-in-One Resource for Pregnancy & Childbirth (Sterling Publishing)
has recently been published by Barnes & Noble (www.bn.com). Comforting
Your Crying Baby: Why Your Baby is Crying and What to Do About It was also
published recently by Innova Publications.
Over 200 of Jones' articles on consumer issues and parenting have been published
in national publications including Family Circle, Redbook, American Baby, and Working
Mother. She has served as a columnist for Parents, Parenting and Woman's World.
As a speaker, Jones has made presentations for the national conferences of La Leche
League International and has made a presentation at the National Association for
the Education of Young Children conference. In addition, she has lectured to parenting
groups and professionals working with parents across the nation including her unique
"Empowerment for Mothers" seminar presented to hundreds of mothers in ten states.
Marcie Jones, MA, is a pregnancy expert and the co-author with her mother,
Sandy Jones, of Great Expectations: Your All-in-One Resource for Pregnancy &
Childbirth (Sterling Publishing) published recently by Barnes & Noble
(www.bn.com) and the mother of a three-year-old. Her second book, Great Expectations:
Your All-in-One Pregnancy Planner and Journal, will be published in October,
2005, by Barnes & Noble.
She is a 1995 graduate of Mills College and has taught writing at the University
of Baltimore. She was awarded a "Best of Show" for her excellence in Publications
Design in 1998 by the Maryland, Delaware, DC Press Association.
